Agreement and website operator

These Terms govern your use of the Teknoberg Limited website. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Website purpose

The website presents Teknoberg's engineering capabilities, selected project imagery, solar equipment and solar-planning tools. It is intended to help visitors understand our services and begin a conversation with our team.

Website content is general information. A product page, project image, calculator result or enquiry does not by itself create an order, reservation, guarantee or contract.

Solar calculator

The solar calculator is an educational pre-feasibility tool. It uses the loads, operating hours, simultaneous-use estimate, site conditions and resilience choices entered in your browser to produce an initial planning view.

A calculator result is not a final design, bill of quantities, equipment selection, site survey, quotation, savings guarantee or promise of runtime or energy production. Final recommendations depend on a proper assessment of load data, site conditions, electrical requirements, structure, shading, protection, earthing, ventilation and applicable regulations.

Engineering and safety

Website content does not replace a site survey or design by appropriately qualified professionals. Procurement and installation decisions should be made only after the required technical review, including electrical protection, cable sizing, changeover arrangements, battery safety, ventilation, mounting structure and statutory requirements.

Medical, life-safety, industrial and mission-critical loads require project-specific reliability and redundancy analysis.

Information and availability

We aim to keep website information useful and current. Product specifications, availability, prices, exchange-rate effects, regulations, manufacturer terms and site conditions may change. Please obtain a current written proposal and review applicable manufacturer documentation before making a purchasing or installation decision.

Quotations and project engagements

Website material is an invitation to discuss a project and not a binding offer. A project engagement becomes binding only through an accepted written quotation, scope of work or contract that identifies the parties, deliverables, price, taxes, payment milestones, programme, assumptions, exclusions, change control, acceptance, warranties and remedies.

If an accepted project document conflicts with these Terms, the project document governs that engagement.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or another applicable law. Where Teknoberg supplies goods or services to a consumer, mandatory rights concerning clear information, accurate representations, fair terms, quality, safety, performance, cancellation, returns, warranties and redress continue to apply.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, website text, visual design, software, graphics, project photography and Teknoberg branding are owned by or licensed to Teknoberg. Third-party marks and materials remain the property of their respective owners. OpenStreetMap data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors under its applicable licence.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal evaluation of Teknoberg's services. You may not reproduce, alter, republish, sell, systematically extract or commercially exploit website material without permission or another lawful basis.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access; bypass security or consent controls; introduce malicious code; disrupt availability; impersonate another person; submit fraudulent material; infringe rights; or use the website to distribute abusive, defamatory, obscene or privacy-invasive content.

External services

The website may link to or embed services operated by others, including OpenStreetMap. External services have their own terms, availability and privacy practices. A link or embed is provided for convenience and does not mean Teknoberg controls or endorses every external statement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Teknoberg is not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website content or a calculator estimate instead of obtaining the required site survey, professional design and written proposal, or by the operation of an external service outside Teknoberg's reasonable control.

This does not exclude liability that applicable law does not permit Teknoberg to exclude, including any express commitment in an accepted project contract.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties should first try to resolve concerns through good-faith communication. Subject to mandatory consumer and jurisdiction rights, Nigerian courts of competent jurisdiction may determine disputes concerning website use.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised effective date. Material changes will not retrospectively alter an already accepted project contract.
